  9.           Detailed Program Description: Cribbage Partner is the most
  10.           realistic and complete Cribbage simulation available from
  11.           Shareware or commercial sources.  The player opposes the
  12.           computer in this popular and entertaining game conducted
  13.           rigorously according to the rules of Cribbage.  Shuffling,            
  14.           dealing, and bookkeeping are done automatically so the player         
  15.           can concentrate on the strategy and (if he likes) the scoring         
  16.           aspects of the game.  A wide selection of playing options is          
  17.           available which can easily be changed during play.  (See the          
  18.           file CP.DOC for complete documentation.)

  22.           those wanting to learn or improve their game, and anyone in
  23.           between.

  26.           If this is an update, improvements over old version: This is
  27.           an update. Improvements consist of the following:
  28.                  - Support for a Microsoft-compatible mouse has been
  29.           added.
  30.                - Screen colors and playing options can now be
  31.           customized and saved.
  32.                - Full statistics are now kept and displayed at the end
  33.           of each hand and game.  This provides a valuable means of
  34.           tracking performance in all categories of play.
  35.                - Easy/Hard switch now allows players to gear the level
  36.           of play to their experience.
  37.                - Sound can now be turned on or off.
  38.                - Scoring histories are now maintained for any number of
  39.           players.
  40.                - A few miscellaneous bugs have been fixed to include a
  41.           screen freezing problem, a display problem which sometimes
  42.           showed only one peg on the board for a player, and a scoring
  43.           problem which sometimes didn't count the last point for 'Go'
  44.           at the end of a hand.

  48.                - Cards, pegs, and Cribbage board are represented just
  49.           like in the original game.
